The games have improved in all aspects like graphics, gameplay mechanics, stories etc. The franchise though suffered a bit in the middle but has recovered greatly with fan-favourite releases like Valhalla and Origins in recent years. Here the protagonist Basim Is’haq a clever smalltime thief, will discover a new creed and by joining the Occults his whole view of the world will drastically change. Set in Baghdad on IX century, thus 20 years before the events in Valhalla.
